    2. Who can utilize BadgeRITE?

      BadgeRITE users are usually managers who seek to create photo ID Badges for their division, department or entire organization. Organizations such as businesses, colleges, non-profits, trade associations and more issue ID Badges to help control access to their facilities and assets.

      A one-time non-refundable Sign-Up Fee is required to subscribe to BadgeRITE.

      No.

      BadgeRITE is a web-based system that is secure and accessible from any PC with a username and password. No additional software or equipment is required to utilize the system.

    6. How do I get started?

      Subscribe to BadgeRITE by clicking the SUBSCRIIBE NOW button on the home page to begin the Sign-Up process. This process requires the completion and submission of a customer profile plus a one-time non-refundable sign-up fee.

      Once an account has been established, you may login to create your badges.

    7. Why does BadgeRITE require that I complete a Customer Profile?

      This information allows us to verify your business and protect against individuals that try to fraudulently create ID Badges.

    8. How do I submit my Customer Profile?

      Simply CLICK HERE to begin the Subscription Request Process and follow the instructions provided. You will be presented with a Customer Profile which must be completed and submitted online.

      You will also be presented with a BadgeRITE Subscriber Agreement which you must read and verify agreement to the terms of service by checking the agreement box online.

  2. Badge Templates

    1. What is a Badge Template?

      A badge template controls the overall look/design of a badge. Templates can be customized to reflect the badge type and layout (horizontal or vertical) and can include organizational logos, colors and basic information.

      Templates are required to produce and order a badge. Users create badges for individuals that they enter into BadgeRITE by choosing from the templates they have designed and stored in the database. Users can create and save different designs based on access clearance, job function, department, location and more.

      Each badge created using the selected template will be automatically “personalized” per each designated badge recipient.

    2. How do I create a Badge Template?

      Login to the system, click the CREATE button and then the DESIGN TEMPLATES button. Once on the DESIGN TEMPLATES page follow the simple instructions.

    3. How do I get my logo into a Template?

      Login to the system, click the PREFERENCE button and then use the instructions provided to upload your logo. The system will automatically use this logo whenever you create a badge Template.

      You may also use different logos by utilizing the Logo Upload feature which is available when ever you start the DESIGN TEMPLATES process. Login to the system, click the CREATE button and then the DESIGN TEMPLATES button. Once on the DESIGN TEMPLATES page follow the simple instructions.

      High resolution images with an optimal size for the logos being 400 by 200 pixels or higher is recommended. For optimal quality it is recommend that images have a 2:1 aspect ratio. Logos can be in color and in a JPEG (JPG), Gif, PNG, BMP, or Tiff format.

    4. Can I have more than one Badge Template for my account?

      Yes.

      You can create and save different templates with your BadgeRITE account. You can create designs based on access clearance, job function, department, location and more.

    5. Can I edit a Badge Template once it has been saved to my account?

      No.

      Once a Badge Template has been created and saved to your account you can only activate it or deactivate its use. If you seek to correct errors in a template, simply create, save and activate a new template with your desired.

    6. How can I search for badge templates I have created?

      Use the BadgeCHEK feature to search for badges by templates. To access the BadgeCHEK feature, click the SEARCH Navigation button at the top of the page.

  3. Custom Badges

    1. How do I create a badge?

      To create badges for individuals, you will need to enter their information and photo into a Credentialing e-FILE via the system.

      Login to the system, click the CREATE button and then the CREATE A BADGE button to create a badge for a single individual or the CREATE MULTIPLE BADGES button for creating badges for 20 or more individuals.

    2. What is a Credentialing e-FILE?

      e-FILES are electronic files that can be easily stored, retrieved and updated in the system as needed.

      To create badges for individuals, you will need to enter their information and photo into a Credentialing e-FILE via the system.

    3. How do I get a person's photo on a badge?

      There are several methods to choose from:

      • If you have a digital camera simply take the picture and upload into the BadgeRITE system when prompted (remember to keep your camera on a low resolution so you don't go over the 500kb limit)

      • If you do not have a digital camera, we can refer you to a site to purchase for around $80. If you do not wish to use a digital camera, then you can have employees bring in a photo of themselves (must be a clear face shot, no hats, sunglasses etc.) and you can scan it into your PC and then upload into BadgeRITE when prompted.

      • If you do not have a scanner, any local department store or photo center can provide this to you. You can upload several hundred photos onto a disk for just a few dollars.

    4. How do I create multiple badges using one template?

      Login to the system, click the CREATE button and then the CREATE MULTIPLE BADGES button for creating badges for 20 or more individuals.

      Download and complete the appropriate Batch File format provided to create a list of individuals in which badges should be issued.

      Upload the completed batch file as directed, select the appropriate badge template, and then click SUBMIT.

      An e-mail will be sent to your account once batch file processing is complete

    5. How are badges ordered and delivered?

      Login to the system and click the ORDER navigation button at the top of the web page.

      At the ORDER page, check the boxes that correspond with the recipients/badges that you seek to order.

      Use the SHIPPING DETAILS section to choose your delivery option and edit your shipping information.

    6. Can I change information for a person after their badge has been created?

      Yes.

      The system will automatically generate a prompt that will give you the option to re-order previously ordered badges for an individual whenever you change information in their Credentialing e-FILE.

    7. What do I do about lost or destroyed badges?

      You may replace lost or stolen badges for an individual, by using the SEARCH feature to find their e-FILE.

      At the e-FILE invalidate the previously issued and now lost badge by clicking the link under STATUS.

      Once the old badge is invalidated you may order a new one by clicking the appropriate badge template displayed in the e-FILE.

      Click the ORDER BADGE button to move your order to the order/shipping queue on the ORDER page.

      Follow the directions on the ORDER page to choose your shipping options and complete your order.
